A Whole New Experience
To confirm your booking, a deposit of 30% of the total invoice amount is required at the time of confirmation. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 45 days prior to the commencement of the tour program.
For bookings made within 45 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of confirmation. For last-minute bookings, we kindly request that payment be made either in cash (USD) or via bank transfer.
Note: Deposit requirements may vary depending on the policies of individual properties. Specific terms will be communicated at the time of booking.
It is mandatory for all travelers to have comprehensive travel insurance that provides adequate coverage for the duration of the trip. This includes coverage for any adventurous or safari-related activities such as guided walks in national parks. Your policy should cover, at a minimum, trip cancellations, medical expenses (including emergency evacuation and repatriation), and loss or theft of personal belongings.
Please review the details of your insurance policy thoroughly and ensure you carry a copy with you during your travels. It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure the chosen policy is appropriate for their specific needs.
Travelers are responsible for ensuring that their passports and visas are valid for all destinations on their itinerary. Most nationalities are eligible to obtain a tourist visa upon arrival in Tanzania at the border or airport. The standard tourist visa fee is USD 50 or USD 100 per person, and the visa is typically valid for 90 days.
Alternatively, visas may be obtained in advance through the appropriate embassy or consulate in your home country. Please verify visa requirements before your departure. Passports must be valid for at least six months beyond the final day of travel. Sparrowhawk Holidays will not be held liable for any issues arising from insufficient travel documentation or associated costs.
In the event of a written cancellation, the following charges will apply based on the number of days prior to the program start date that the cancellation is received:
90–61 days prior to departure: 20% of the total program cost
60–31 days prior to departure: 50% of the total program cost
30 days or fewer prior to departure: 100% of the total program cost

In circumstances amounting to force majeure, we will not issue refunds. However, if we are able to recover any monies from our suppliers, we will pass those refunds on to you.
