Mahale National Park 5 Days / 4 Nights 

Day 1 – Sunday: Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will be greeted by your driver. You will then be transferred to Arusha for dinner and overnight accommodation at Gran Melia Arusha in a Deluxe Mount Meru View Room.

Day 2 – Monday: Arusha to Mahale National Park

After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for your 08:00hrs flight to Mahale National Park. Upon arrival at Mahale Airstrip at 12:10hrs, you will be transferred by Dhow boat (approximately 1.5 hours) to your lodge. On arrival, you will be welcomed by the lodge staff, followed by lunch. In the afternoon or early evening, embark on a chimpanzee trekking excursion or a forest walk (time permitting). Enjoy evening sundowners, dinner, and overnight at Mbalimbali Mahale.

Day 3 – Tuesday: Mahale National Park

After breakfast, set off for a morning chimpanzee trekking adventure. Return to the lodge for a hot lunch. The afternoon is at leisure, with the option to kayak or relax at the lodge. In the evening, enjoy sundowners, followed by dinner and overnight accommodation at Mbalimbali Mahale.

Day 4 – Wednesday: Mahale National Park

After breakfast, enjoy another morning of chimpanzee trekking. Return to the lodge for a hot lunch, followed by an afternoon at leisure. Later, embark on a scenic boat safari along the lakeshore. Enjoy evening sundowners, dinner, and overnight at Mbalimbali Mahale.

Day 5 – Thursday: Mahale National Park to Kilimanjaro International Airport

After breakfast, enjoy a morning boat transfer back to Mahale Airstrip. You will then board a shared charter flight from Mahale Airstrip at 12:25hrs to Arusha. Upon arrival at Arusha Airport at 18:00hrs, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
