Mahale National Park 5 Days / 4 Nights 

Day 1 – Sunday: Kilimanjaro International Airport → Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to Arusha. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Gran Meliá Arusha, in a Deluxe Mount Meru View Room.

Day 2 – Monday: Arusha → Mahale National Park

After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight departing at 08:00 hrs to Mahale National Park.
Arrive at Mahale Airstrip at 12:10 hrs, where you will be transferred by traditional dhow boat (approximately 1.5 hours) to your lodge.

On arrival at Mbalimbali Mahale, you will be welcomed by the lodge staff, followed by lunch.
In the afternoon or early evening (time permitting), enjoy your first chimpanzee trekking experience or a guided forest walk.

End the day with sundowners, dinner, and overnight at Mbalimbali Mahale.

Day 3 – Tuesday: Mahale National Park

After breakfast, depart for a morning chimpanzee trekking excursion.
Return to the lodge for a hot lunch.

The afternoon is at leisure, with optional activities such as kayaking on Lake Tanganyika or relaxing at the lodge.
Enjoy evening sundowners, followed by dinner and overnight at Mbalimbali Mahale.

Day 4 – Wednesday: Mahale National Park

After breakfast, head out for another morning chimpanzee trek.
Return to the lodge for lunch, followed by an afternoon at leisure.

Later in the day, embark on a scenic boat safari along the lakeshore.
Enjoy sundowners, dinner, and overnight at Mbalimbali Mahale.
